COMMUNITY FORUM - December 18 at 5:30 PM - Edenvale Community Center

The School Consolidation Committee invites the public to provide input on north region schools (Christopher, Stipe, and Edenvale), areas of dual boundary attendance, students receiving busing to other neighborhood schools and any other circumstance impacted by potential boundary shifts and closures.

Doors open at 5:00 PM. Speakers fill out a REQUEST-TO-SPEAK card and stand in line until called to speak. There is a 1-minute time limit. Please be respectful of the time limit to allow everyone the opportunity to speak. Donated speaking minutes will not be allowed.

A Board appointed Committee has identified eight (8) schools to move to the next phase in the process of narrowing down a recommendation of 3-5 schools for possible closure for the 2018-19 school year. Decisions by the Board of Trustees are anticipated for January 2018, after a Public Hearing is held.

The eight (8) schools currently in the next phase of narrowing down a recommendation of 3-5 schools for possible closure are: Anderson, Baldwin, Del Roble, Frost, Glider, Miner, Oak Ridge, and Santa Teresa.

The School Consolidation process is structured to be fair, thorough, and transparent, keeping the best interest of our students in the forefront of this challenging process.
